LEARN MORE

Inspired by the Museum’s collection of neon signs that reflect desert landscapes, this event showcases how the natural environment of Las Vegas weaves a story through the city’s past, present, and future. Spend the morning learning alongside Museum staff, plus meet experts from the Las Vegas Science & Natural History Museum, Nevada Wildlife Refuge, Nevada State Parks, and 12 other local organizations!

  • Explore the Neon Boneyard in a nature-themed scavenger hunt
  • Sort recyclable materials and discover how communities have adapted to the desert over time with the Neon Museum Learning Team
  • Spend some quiet time in the Library Reading Corner
  • See live performances from:
    • The World Jazz Studies program at Las Vegas Academy of the Arts
    • Gary Cordell’s Jazz Group from The Smith Center & Jazz Outreach Initiative
    • Alchemy Arts Youth Theatre Company with Vegas Theatre Company
    • And More!

We’re excited to celebrate the cultural and natural landscape of Las Vegas together. Don’t miss out – come and join us for a fun-filled day celebrating how we thrive in our desert city!
