August 24: Creating with Color
Do you love colors? Want to learn how they work and how to use them? Then join us for a colorful event where you’ll explore the science and art of color and how that connects to our Neon Boneyard collection. You’ll learn how to mix colors, create optical illusions, explore color psychology in signs, and make your own rainbow. Don’t miss this chance to brighten up your day with creativity!
September 28: The Art of Performance
Las Vegas is home to a very robust entertainment industry. Clowns, magicians, dancers, actors, singers, musicians, comedians, writers, and designers come from all over the world to practice their craft in our city. This month we will take a look at the Neon Boneyard collection and connect with the entertainers who have made Las Vegas their home. Let’s explore different careers in entertainment by creating personalized puppets, designing show posters, practicing our performance skills, and much more! Registration coming soon.
STEAM Saturdays is sponsored by Meow Wolf, Cox Charities, and the Nevada Arts Council, a state agency, which receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency, and the state of Nevada.
