Important Information:
October 26: Neon Block Party
You’re invited to The Neon Museum’s first ever Neon Block Party! This exciting event replaces our usual monthly STEAM Saturday, offering an even bigger experience! This month, we’re offering hands-on STEAM activities brought by various local organizations and our staff, along with local performances and tasty food trucks.
November 16: Think Like a Curator
What does a curator do? The Neon Boneyard wouldn’t be what it is today without the help of a curator, so let’s learn all about curation and the important role they play at The Neon Museum. While we bridge the connection between curation and our collection, you will design your own mini exhibit, curate your own collection, discover the challenges of an outdoor museum, test your skills at historic paint matching, and learn about conserving our collection. Registration coming soon.
STEAM Saturdays is sponsored by Meow Wolf, Cox Charities, and the Nevada Arts Council, a state agency, which receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency, and the state of Nevada.
