The earliest magic performers in Las Vegas’ history arrived from a myriad of backgrounds and disciplines, often rooted in the vaudeville tradition of the late 1800s and early 1900s. Later, from the 1980s to the 2000s, magic was a main attraction in Las Vegas and, for the first time, magicians themselves became the stars of high-profile shows and residencies all over the city.
