Explore science and animation at The Neon Museum!
Join The Neon Museum for an engaging, 3-day camp for kids age eight to sixteen. Taking place in the Neon Boneyard and historic La Concha Lobby, our summer camps offer fun hands-on, interdisciplinary learning grounded in our collection of iconic Las Vegas signs and stories.
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in June
9 am – 12:30 pm
$10 registration fee + $45 camp fee.
Self-Nominated scholarships available.
Animation (8-11 years old)
Learn storytelling and animation techniques to come away with your very own stop motion movie!
- Learn strategies for storytelling and plan your own video project.
- Use Stop Motion Studio Pro to create a short film.
- Discover amazing careers in the filmmaking industry.
- Get to know The Neon Museum’s iconic sign collection.

Chemistry (12-16 years old)
The art of Neon is the perfect way to see topics chemistry and thermodynamics in action!
- Explore the periodic table and understand atomic structures.
- Learn about the scientific method and apply it to fun experiments.
- Study and visualize states of matter and conservation of mass.
- Uncover the science behind light.

What to expect:
- Our half-day Summer Camps provide a welcoming, highly structured learning experience designed to accommodate a wide range of learning needs.
- Campers must be dropped off at The Neon Museum at 9 am and picked up at 12:30 pm. We are unable to accommodate early drop off or late pick up, except in exceptional circumstances that must receive prior approval.
- You will be asked to provide the full names of all individuals authorized for pick up during the camp registration process.
We offer light, allergy friendly snacks throughout the morning. Please note that lunch is not provided. - Programs are delivered primarily in English, with a Spanish speaking instructor and Spanish language materials available.
- Some camp activities take place outdoors. Please ensure campers are dressed for the weather and are supplied with water, sunscreen, and sunglasses.
- All camp materials and supplies will be provided by The Neon Museum.
