THE NEON MUSEUM TO HOST “STEAM FAMILY FEST: NATURE AND SUSTAINABILITY,” NOVEMBER 22

Community Event to Feature Hands-On Learning, Live Performances, Crafting, Science Demonstrations and More

The Neon Museum invites families to its “STEAM Family Fest: Nature and Sustainability” on Saturday, November 22. Inspired by the Museum’s collection of neon signs that reflect desert landscapes, this event showcases how the natural environment of Las Vegas weaves a story through the city’s past, present, and future. This youth-focused initiative will bring together 25 local partners and performers for a day of interactive learning experiences celebrating science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM).

From 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., guests of all ages can explore a vibrant mix of hands-on activity stations, live entertainment and artist demonstrations throughout The Neon Museum’s Neon Boneyard. Tickets for those ages seven and older are $5 online and $6 at the door. Children six years and under are free. For tickets, click here. Thanks to the generous support of Speedway Children’s Charities, library card holders can attend STEAM Family Fest for free! Library cards from all three local library districts can be redeemed for up to four free tickets on the day of the event.

“STEAM Family Fest is our favorite community event series,” said Melisa McChesney, Director of Lifelong Learning at The Neon Museum. “Three times a year, families can come together to learn alongside Museum staff, meet local experts, join in on story time, and explore The Neon Museum campus.”
