Program Offers Up to Six Tickets for Individuals in the United States Military and Their Families
To honor active-duty military personnel, The Neon Museum is partnering with Blue Star Museums for the third year to offer free general admission to individuals who currently serve in the United States Military and their families. Tickets will be available from Armed Forces Day, May 17, through Labor Day, Sept. 1.
Blue Star Museums is a collaboration between the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and participating museums across America. The free general admission program is available for those currently serving in the United States Military – Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard as well as members of the Reserves, National Guard, U.S. Public Health Commissioned Corps, NOAA Commissioned Corps – and up to five family members.
Qualified members must show a Geneva Convention common access card (CAC), DD Form 1173 ID card (dependent ID), DD Form 1173-1 ID card or the Next Generation Uniformed Services (Real) ID card for entrance into The Neon Museum.
The Neon Museum is open daily and includes an outdoor exhibition space known as the Neon Boneyard that is filled with some of Las Vegas’ most iconic neon signs; the North Gallery, home to the immersive audiovisual experience “Brilliant! Jackpot,” which uses technology to re-illuminate more than 40 non- operational signs; the Boulevard Gallery outdoor exhibit and event space; and its visitors’ center inside the former La Concha Motel lobby. The Neon Museum is accredited by the American Alliance of Museums.
