Roger Thomas, iconic designer behind wynn resorts, to host fundraiser and author’s talk at The Neon Museum, May 10

Event to Feature Book Signing of “Resort Style: Spaces of Celebration,” Panel Discussion and Exclusive Private Tour of The Neon Boneyard

Legendary interior designer Roger Thomas, renowned for transforming the aesthetic of Las Vegas resorts through his decades-long partnership with Steve and Elaine Wynn, will headline a special author’s talk and fundraiser at The Neon Museum on Saturday, May 10.

Hosted by the Las Vegas non-profit known for illuminating the city’s cultural essence through its iconic signage and vibrant collections, the event will celebrate Thomas’s book, Resort Style: Spaces of Celebration and include a panel discussion, book signing and offer an exclusive private tour of the Neon Boneyard.

A five-time inductee into the Architectural Digest AD100 and a member of the Interior Design Hall of Fame, Thomas is internationally renowned for reimagining the casino experience. In Resort Style, he offers a lavish visual presentation of his approach to hotel-casino design, detailing how he and the Wynns elevated Las Vegas casinos into sophisticated, artfully curated environments filled with antiques, fine fabrics, and custom furnishings.

“This is a rare opportunity to engage with a world-renowned designer who is synonymous with the resort experience. Through this morning event, guests will be able to explore Roger’s approach towards hospitality spaces and connect them to The Neon Museum’s collection in truly exceptional way,” said Aaron Berger, Executive Director of The Neon Museum.

The event will feature a panel discussion with Thomas, moderated by Berger, offering a behind-the-scenes look at Thomas’s signature maximalist interiors and the role of emotion, drama and storytelling in his work. Each guest will receive a copy of the book, which Thomas will personally sign at the event. Tickets for the author’s talk can be reserved here.  This is the only public signing in Las Vegas, and the final Resort Style book signing.

Ahead of the panel, a limited number of guests will join Roger Thomas for a private guided tour of The Neon Boneyard. Limited to just 15 attendees, the intimate experience will take guests sign to sign as Thomas shares personal reflections and insights on the evolution of Las Vegas design. Tickets for the tour can be reserved here.

All proceeds will benefit The Neon Museum’s preservation and education initiatives. The author’s talk event is proudly sponsored by Wynn Resorts with support provided by Makers & Finders.
