Pride of Philly Steaks to donate original signage to The Neon Museum Las Vegas

Las Vegas favorite follows recent restaurant refresh with the donation of its iconic “P.O.P.S.” sign, dating back to its 2002 opening.
The P.O.P.S. sign to officially debut at The Neon Museum Las Vegas this summer

Pride of Philly Steaks, a Las Vegas favorite for more than two decades, is proud to announce the donation of its original neon sign to The Neon Museum Las Vegas, where it will be preserved as part of the city’s rich visual and cultural history.

Following a recent full-scale property refresh and mobile expansion, the iconic “P.O.P.S.” neon sign, featuring the restaurant’s original logo, classic neon colors, and vintage Las Vegas charm, will find a permanent new home at The Neon Museum in Downtown Las Vegas. The sign sat atop Pride of Philly Steaks’ distinctive A-frame building from its opening in 2002 and has long been a familiar beacon to locals and visitors along Decatur Boulevard.

The original P.O.P.S. sign will officially debut at The Neon Museum Las Vegas this summer.

“The P.O.P.S sign has been part of our story since my father founded the restaurant more than 20 years ago,” said Christina Walton, owner of Pride of Philly Steaks. “Generations of locals and visitors have spotted the neon sign from Decatur Boulevard and made the restaurant part of their Las Vegas experience. Donating it to The Neon Museum ensures this piece of our history lives on in a place that truly celebrates the spirit of Las Vegas. We’re honored to see it preserved for years to come.”

“As The Neon Museum continues to preserve the city’s most beloved landmarks, the original Pride of Philly Steaks sign will join the collection as a symbol of Las Vegas’ neighborhood culture and small business legacy,” said Aaron Berger, Executive Director of The Neon Museum. “The Pride of Philly Steaks sign embodies the character and community spirit that define Las Vegas. By preserving this local landmark, we honor the city’s small businesses and ensure that its iconic neon continues to tell the story of our vibrant and ever-changing cultural heritage.”
