Museum on Wheels

Bring The Neon Museum directly to your classroom! Museum on Wheels provides engaging, hands-on lessons that help students explore history, art, architecture, and museum studies without leaving school.

Our ready-to-use curriculum kits are designed for grades 6-8 and organized around three exciting themes:

  • Think Like a Curator
  • Black History: Las Vegas & Beyond
  • Architecture & Design

Each lesson includes interactive activities, classroom resources, and teacher materials that make implementation simple and engaging. Lessons are aligned with Clark County School District and Nevada Academic Content Standards, and a detailed standards alignment guide is available with each unit.

Museum on Wheels kits may include lesson plans, presentation materials, worksheets, books, photographs, artifacts, and other hands-on resources that bring learning to life and support a variety of teaching styles.

Whether you’re exploring the work of a museum curator, investigating Black history in Las Vegas, or tackling creative design challenges, Museum on Wheels helps students connect classroom learning to their community through meaningful, standards-aligned
experiences.
