Museum on Wheels
We understand that not all schools in the area have equal access to field trips at The Neon Museum. If you cannot bring your elementary middle school classroom to learn at the Neon Boneyard, we deliver the Neon Museum to Las Vegas school teachers through our Museum on Wheels program!
Museum on Wheels is offered in various content areas, providing a set of instructional materials that are organized around one of three themes: “Think Like a Curator,” “Black History: Las Vegas & Beyond,” and “Architecture & Design” – learn more by clicking the links below. Each case contains a teacher handbook with master copies of worksheets, inventory lists, hard copies of PowerPoints, and lesson plans. We provide information on how content in each Museum on Wheels aligns with Nevada academic content standards. The contents may also include books, visual aids, tactile artifacts, and a variety of other items to help you tailor a lesson or series of lessons for your classroom.
