Mike Dini is a visionary senior marketing leader with a distinguished record of success shaping the brands of casino hotels, gaming companies, manufacturing operations, and live entertainment experiences. Over the course of his career, he has brought transformative leadership to organizations in both the public and private sectors—most notably playing an instrumental role in crafting the brand and personality for downtown Las Vegas’ first new resort operation in more than 40 years, which opened in 2020.

A graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, Mike studied journalism and public relations with a focus on the Spanish language, originally anticipating a career as a foreign correspondent. That early grounding in storytelling and cultural awareness continues to inform his marketing philosophy today. His professional path shifted toward marketing and communications after gaining first-hand experience in his family’s Northern Nevada gaming operation, where he developed a deep understanding of customer experience, operational excellence, and the power of authentic brand connections.

As Chief Marketing Officer, Mike brings visionary leadership across every aspect of brand development and customer engagement.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mike proudly resides in North Las Vegas with his husband, Rob Peters. A passionate outdoorsman and avid gardener, he spends his spare time mountain biking, hiking, and tending to his desert garden—once cited by horticulturalist Norm Schilling as “in the top one percent of landscaped spaces in Las Vegas.”

Never one to take himself too seriously, Mike also shares a 2003 patent for a “gaming machine having bonus game,” and fondly recalls his crowning culinary achievement: winning the first-ever local “Fruitcake Bakeoff” in 1994, a title that obliges him to defend the oft-maligned holiday confection into perpetuity.
