Memoir Workshops
If you consider yourself an older adult, join a fantastic workshop at The Neon Museum with Joylynn M. Ross, an award-winner author, to Write What Happened to You In Vegas!
In this workshop series, you’ll use your pen to travel back in time to your favorite memories from our amazing city of Las Vegas. You’ll begin to write a collection of your own personal stories, memorable moments, or essays to form your own memoir or book, with an opportunity to share it with others at the end of the 7-week series.
Spend time in the Neon Boneyard – where the museum’s collection of bright, historic Las Vegas signs live – for inspiration to dive into your past.
Workshop Details:
Dates: Mondays, March 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, and April 7, 14
Time: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Final Event: April 21, 10AM-11:30AM
(The Final Event is an optional private reading of your work held at The Neon Museum, with friends and family welcome to attend.)
Ticket Details:
- Cost: $99 for the 8-session series
- Registration and payment must be completed in advance.
- Attendance at a minimum of 3 sessions is required to participate in the private reading.
