If you consider yourself an older adult, join a fantastic workshop at The Neon Museum with Joylynn M. Ross, an award-winner author, to Write What Happened to You In Vegas!
In this workshop series, you’ll use your pen to travel back in time to your favorite memories from our amazing city of Las Vegas. You’ll begin to write a collection of your own personal stories, memorable moments, or essays to form your own memoir or book, with an opportunity to share it with others at the end of the 7-week series.
Spend time in the Neon Boneyard – where the museum’s collection of bright, historic Las Vegas signs live – for inspiration to dive into your past.
About the Teaching Artist
Joylynn M. Ross is an award-winning teaching artist of 30 years and is a member of the Nevada Arts Council and Lifetime Arts Teaching Artist Rosters. She has writing, storytelling, publishing, and literary programs and workshops customized for early learners, to lifetime learners – and everyone in between. Her company brands, Path To Publishing and Path To Connections, were awarded SBA Microenterprise Business of the Year 2025 for the Nevada District. As a national best-selling author of over 40 books and publications written in multiple genres under various names, when Joylynn isn’t helping others unearth, shape, and share their stories, she’s penning her own.”
