Director of Lifelong Learning
Melisa McChesney brings over 14 years of museum experience to her role as Director of Lifelong Learning. Prior to joining the team, she served as Curator of Community Engagement at the Wyoming State Museum. In that role, she welcomed diverse audiences into the museum through dynamic educational programs and outreach efforts that reached thousands of people across the state each year. Her work is grounded in audience research and a deep commitment to inclusive, engaging learning experiences that foster connection, curiosity, and community.
With a background in Museum Studies and Anthropology, Melisa is passionate about building relationships and collaborating to create fun, welcoming opportunities for learners of all ages. Melisa loves living in Las Vegas, where she has access to endless rock climbing, hiking, and skiing opportunities year-round.
