You’re invited to The Neon Museum’s first ever Neon Block Party! This exciting event replaces our usual monthly STEAM Saturday, offering an even bigger experience! This month, we’re offering hands-on STEAM activities brought by various local organizations and our staff, along with local performances and tasty food trucks.

The Atomic Museum shares the science, history, and legacy of the Atomic Age through engaging exhibits, objects, and storytelling. Learn about the nuclear weapons tests carried out at the nearby Nevada Test Site that earned Las Vegas the nickname, the Atomic City.

The STEM Education Program at DRI is a global scientific research and development institute under the Nevada System of Higher Education. For the Neon Block Party, they will be educating the public about phantom energy and ways to put a stop to energy vampires in their homes.

The District nurtures the social, economic, and educational well-being of people and communities. At the Neon Block Party, their outreach team will lead an engaging, hands-on STEAM activity, designed for both adults and youth, fostering a shared journey of learning.

Join us for a Musical Petting Zoo, where children and adults of all ages can view instrument demonstrations and have the opportunity to play the various instruments we have on display. Try one instrument or try them all! Children may also pick up a musical activity booklet to take home.

The Las Vegas Natural History Museum is on a mission to inspire a better understanding and appreciation of the natural world, the sciences, and ourselves through educational exhibits, programming, and research. At this event, we will create a trace fossil! Trace fossils are the fossilized marks of animal or plant activity.

Punk Rock Museum

Our museum invites lifelong fans and curious looky-loos of all ages to experience a hands-on, uniquely punk rock experience. At our information table, we will host an interactive patch & pin making workshop that celebrates the way old school punkers repped their favorite bands, D.I.Y style!

Rainbow Company

Rainbow Youth Company Theatre is a nationally acclaimed group funded by the City of Las Vegas, providing professional theatrical training for over 45 years. Rainbow Company students will present a short scene from their current production of William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night and will host art projects inspired by the Shakespearean classic.
